It does not matter what tomorrow brings,

When the hurricane goes through your heart,

I will be there to be the shield.

I will always shield you in all types of weather.

I will always do my best for you.

It does not matter what the yesterdays held,

Or even matters how they have affected you.

It only matters that I am not far from you now,

I will be there to shield you, even from afar.

I will be there for you.

You are my guiding star.

It never mattered to me,

Your very own history,

Is full of mystery.

It never matters that your life was at all ends.

If you’re alone or sad,

I will be there with you

Near you, for you, to hold on too.

There for you, now,

Until this earth ends.

Until everything mends.

Just lean your head on my shoulder.

Especially when this world gets colder.

Let me be there with you.

This is how much I truly care for you.

This is how much I will always share with you.

No matter what others say or do.

I will always be there,

Right there for you.

Is my shield for you.
